The food absorbs the fragrant wood smoke as the plank slowly smolders.
Soak the planks in water for at least an hour before placing them on the cooking grid to ensures they will smolder, and to keeps them from burning up during cooking!
Cedar wood gives a robust, sweet, smokey flavour and is perfect for Salmon, meats and other seafood.
