JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport and must be willing to travel
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office) Accounting packages.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA).
  • 1 to 2 years working experience post article experience
  • 5yrs+ experience in an accounting role within the Retail sector
  • Sound financial knowledge and experience.
  • Review and management of the general ledger.
  • Completing VAT returns.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review trial balances.
  • Review of the cashbook and other account reconciliations.
  • Facilitate both internal and external audits.
  • Preparing company statutory returns for review by Financial Manager.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Assist Finance Manager with day to day tasks.
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability perform well in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to fully understand interpret and analyse numerical information
  • Ability to meet targets based on productivity and effectiveness
  • Analytical attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good investigating skills and have a “flair” for fraud

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Analyse reports in order to extract relevant information
  • Develop and implement reporting systems and analytical methods that clearly disclose the current status of business operations.
  • Adopt a risk-based audit approach while conducting internal audits from inception to completion
  • Displaying an in-depth knowledge of accounting principle and risk identification techniques
  • Utilising of information system practices
  • Establishing viable project plan and time line
  • Ensuring audit plan is congruent with risk assessment audit experience

Hirsch’s is looking for a vibrant, dynamic appliance technician in the KZN region.

User support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Advise user on appropriate action
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Log all help desk interactions
  • Administer help desk software
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Prepare activity reports
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • Related experience and training
