TERMS & CONDITIONS:

 

ELECTRICAL: The above does not include the cost of any electrical supply which is required not more than 3 meters away from the air conditioning unit. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange power to carry out the prescribed work. I.e.: Generators if needed.

 

BUILDERS WORK: All builders work is excluded i.e. Chasing, patching, coring, sleeves, ceiling work, trapdoors and painting, etc unless specified in writing.

 

WARRANTY ON THE EQUIPMENT ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Carrier Carries a 5 year compressor warranty and the unit carries a 2 year warranty (Inclusive of Electronics, Cosmetics, Mechanical & Electrical parts.
  2. Samsung Carries a 10 year compressor warranty and the unit carries a 5 year warranty (Inclusive of Electronics, Cosmetics, Mechanical & Electrical parts.
  3. Daikin Carries a 3 year comprehensive warranty on entire unit (Inclusive of Electronics, Cosmetics, Mechanical & Electrical parts.
  4. LG Carries a 10 year compressor warranty and the unit carries a 2 year warranty (Inclusive of Electronics, Mechanical & Electrical parts.
  5. Alliance Carries a 3 year compressor warranty and the unit carries a 1 year warranty (Inclusive of Electronics, Cosmetics, Mechanical & Electrical parts.
  6. All warranties are subject to an annual service. However due to our harsh weather and highly corrosive conditions, we do recommend you service your unit every six months.
  7. The warranty excludes labour, Travelling & refrigerant as well as acts of God, malicious damage, rodents, power surges and lightning damage.
  8. Warranty is not valid if the unit size is too small for the area in question.

 

PAYMENT TERMS: 100% ON ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE. In the event of any outstanding amount due the seller, being handed over to an attorney for collection, the purchaser will be liable to pay all cost incurred by the seller on the attorney and client scale, including collection commission.

 

DELIVERY: The goods delivered, or installed, are deemed to be operating satisfactorily, unless the seller receives written information to the contrary, from the purchaser within (2) weeks after the delivery, erection or installation of the goods.

 

REFUNDS: In the event of the purchaser requesting a refund after the goods have been delivered, installed or erected, a 15% handling fee will be charged on the total value of the sale to cover all cost incurred.

 

OWNERSHIP: Ownership in all goods supplied by the seller shall not pass to the purchaser until such time as the purchase price has been paid in full to the monetary invoice value. The seller shall have the right to immediately remove the air conditioning equipment, wherever they may be located or installed, or equipment that has been attached or annexed to any building or structure. 

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Whilst undertaking to carry out the service to the best of our ability, Hirsch Air shall not be responsible for:

  1. Any losses incurred by our installation crew or any other direct or consequential damages whatsoever the cause.
  2. It is the customer’s responsibility to remove breakable and valuable items from the working area. We will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of any valuables.
  3. Hirsch Air will not be held responsible for any damages to water pipes, electrical cables etc, whilst the installation is being carried out. It is the clients responsibility to inform the installation crew of any pipes and cables that may be chased into the walls or floors prior to any work being carried out.
  4. Faults due to external causes to the equipment i.e. Corrosion and rust.
