A great alternative to using a tumble dryer
One of the key benefits of using the MeacoDry ABC Range 20L Compressor Dehumidifier is its versatility during load shedding. When you can't use your tumble dryer due to power outages, this dehumidifier can still be used on whole home alternative power sources to dry your clothes without any hassle.
In fact, using a dehumidifier to dry your clothes can be a much more energy-efficient solution than using a tumble dryer. Tumble dryers consume a lot of electricity, whereas a dehumidifier uses far less energy, making it an eco-friendly and cost-effective option for those looking to reduce their energy consumption.
As a result Meaco have added a handy one-touch Laundry mode, which runs the dehumidifier at full speed for 6 hours and will then automatically turns it off, to help you save on energy costs whilst fully drying your clothes.
The MeacoDry ABC 20L also benefits from a Child Lock to stop little (or big) fingers from changing the machine’s settings!
Easy-to-monitor water tank
The 4.8 litre tank means that you shouldn’t have to empty it very often, or you can opt for a hose that will allow the water to drain away continuously (hose not included). A clear indicator shows how full the tank is, so you’re never caught out by a full tank.
Extraction rate data is good down to 10°C making the MeacoDry ‘ABC’ a quiet, viable dehumidifier even in unheated spaces like cellars, utility rooms, gun safes and garages.
