Terms and conditions for "Smeg Scratch and Win” competition

1.       “the Promoters” of the promotion is Smeg and Hirsch’s.

 

2.       The name of “the Competition” is “Smeg Scratch and Win”

 

3.       The Competition will run from 27 February until 31 May 2021 (both days included) in all Hirsch’s stores nationally and via the Hirsch’s website www.hirschs.co.za ("the Competition period")

 

4.       By entering the Competition and accepting any prize participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

5.       The Competition is open to all participants within the Republic of South Africa with a valid South African ID document / South African passport. Participants are not eligible to participate in this competition if;

    5.1.     Participant is a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of Smeg, or Hirsch’s its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies                         goods or services in connection with the competition

    5.2.     Participant is a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 5.1

 

6.       To enter the competition, a Participant must make a purchase of a Smeg dishwasher. All Smeg dishwasher models apply.

 

7.       Customers will then be handed a single scratch card by the cashier.

 

8.       All scratch cards will reveal one prize, participants stand a chance to win;

 

9.       Hirsch’s prizes:

  • Hirsch’s Cash Back Vouchers redeemable on purchase of a Smeg dishwasher at promotion price. Vouchers include 100% Hirsch’s Cash Back Vouchers, R2500, R1000, R750 and R500 Hirsch’s Cash Back Vouchers.
  • Double Hirsch’s Loyalty points redeemable on purchase of a Smeg dishwasher
  • Hirsch’s R250, R500, R1000 Gift Vouchers redeemable at any Hirsch’s store or on the Hirsch’s website (www.hirschs.co.za) using the voucher number on the winning scratch card to claim the prize.
  • 10% and 20% Hirsch’s bonus discounts off the participants next Smeg purchase at full recommended retail price, redeemable at any Hirsch’s store using the scratch card to claim the discount on purchase.
  • Hirsch’s Cookbook redeemable instore on purchase of a Smeg dishwasher

 

10.    Smeg prizes

  • Smeg Stand Mixers (SMF02BL), Smeg Filter Coffee Machines (DCF02RD), Smeg Kettles (KLF03BL), Smeg 2 Slice Toasters (TSF02BL), Smeg Blenders (BLF01BL), Smeg 250ml Dishwasher Detergents, Smeg Dishwasher tabs (1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year free), Smeg Oven Gloves and Smeg Aprons.
  • To redeem Smeg prizes participants must e-mail the scratch card serial number along with the original invoice to [email protected] for prize delivery.

 

11.    The original invoice is required by the participant to validate all scratch card prizes claims.

 

12.    The prize on the scratch card is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

 

13.    Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.

 

14.    The promoters will not be held responsible for any undelivered prizes due to any incorrect details being provided by the winner/s with regards to delivery details and no replacements will be made.

 

15.    The promoters of this competition and affiliate delivery agents do not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by a participant resulting from the participation in this promotion or the use of any prize.

 

16.    The promoters reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reason whatsoever at any time without notice. In such event, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the promoters or its agents.

 

17.    In the event of a dispute in regard any aspect of the competition and/or these terms and conditions, the decision of the promoters will be final and binding and no correspondence may be entered into.

 

18.   The promoters may refuse to award the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
